Hey, you Naughties!
Thank you so much for stopping by and welcome to my website. I’m one of those lucky
people who get to do what she loves. I’m a writer, mentor, and consultant. My biggest
hope, as a mentor, is that you will publish, too.

While I have taught professionally for many years and spoken all
around the country about writing, my biggest love (this side of
writing) is working with people to get agents and book contracts.
A pic of me teaching?
I’ve been a part of Writing and Illustrating for Young Readers (WIFYR) since it was dreamed
up more than twenty years ago. This is a working writers conference. It lasts a full week. Some
of the best writers, illustrators, agents, and editors have participated in WIFYR helping many
start on their publishing journey. What’s cooler than that?

I now have more than thirty books published. I’m excited to share what I’ve learned over the years in private one-on-one mentorships. As well, I offer editing services for those who want to make their books the best they can be. (Check out what past clients have had to say here.)
No one can tell your story except you. Your voice, your word-choice, your heart on the page makes your stories beautiful. I would love to go on your writing journey with you, either through WIFYR, mentoring, or editing.
Sincerely,
Carol
